Billy Renninger (Ren to his students) is the sole AP Art History Instructor at Plant High School in Tampa,  FL.  As a Tour Leader for 4 EF Tours Ren has accompanied over 100 students to Europe, NYC and South East Asia.   These trips afford them the opportunity to experience, in person,  the art, architecture, and culture learned about in class.  Jen (Ren’s Wife) is a freelance illustrator and designer.  She travels along as co-tour leader and ‘artistic assistant’,  adding a more contemporary viewpoint to balance out Ren’s focus on history.

While we may travel with fairly large groups of students,  we break those groups down into smaller collections of 6 -7 student travelers to a chaperone.  Each student has an adult to turn to at any moment while traveling,  Our chaperones are either teachers or their spouses,  so we all have a working knowledge of managing both the enthusiasm and insecurities of students.
